BMW Android Head Units – what you need to know

BMW's original radios were up to date in their day, but for today's expectations – navigation, phone integration, a reversing camera – they no longer cut it. TopNAVI's model-specific BMW Android head units fit in place of the original radio with no cutting or dismantling: the steering wheel controls, the car's own displays and the PDC (parking sensor) audio signal are all retained, and after the installation the cabin still looks uniform and neat. Every head unit offers wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, built-in GPS navigation (Google Maps, Waze), Bluetooth hands-free calling and a multi-language menu. The screen size varies by model: the E46 takes 7, 8.8 and 9-inch versions, while the E90–E93 and the F10/F11 take 10.25-inch. The STANDARD, PRO, ELITE and PREMIUM configurations differ in processor, memory and screen quality – for everyday use STANDARD is already enough, while the higher levels give you the most. Cars fitted with the wide-screen factory navigation may need an adapter cable – we flag this on the product pages, and you will find it in the collection too.
