Dacia Logan and Sandero Android head units – what you need to know
The Dacia Logan and the Sandero are essentially two body styles of the same car: they share a floorpan, and the centre section of the dashboard is shared too, so the same Android head unit fits both. That also applies to the derivatives, so Sandero Stepway and Logan MCV estate owners can browse this page with confidence, because the area around the radio is no different on those either. The Dacia Logan head unit and Dacia Sandero head unit kits in our range were made for the 2009–2015 model years. A factory-plug wiring loom is supplied with it, so nothing has to be cut or soldered, and the factory speakers and aerial remain usable unchanged. Yes, both. The phone can be connected wirelessly or with a USB cable, and since it runs a full Android system, Waze, Google Maps or Spotify can be used directly on the screen.
How long does the installation take, and is there a warranty?
For an experienced fitter it takes about an hour, and around two hours for a home installation, because the factory-plug wiring loom means nothing has to be cut. Every head unit carries a 2-year warranty, and we help with the setup by phone as well.
