The Hyundai i10, i20, i30 and ix20 are the brand's best-loved city and compact models, and we offer a factory-look Android head unit for each. The i10 (2007–2013) and the i30 (2011–2017) are fitted in place of the factory radio with a 9-inch model-specific frame, and the ix20 (2010–2019) – which is the technical sibling of the Kia Venga – also comes with its own frame. Every unit supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a full multi-language menu, the Google Play store, Waze, Google Maps and Sygic navigation, Bluetooth hands-free calling, FM/RDS radio, and WiFi and 4G internet. The supplied CAN-BUS adapter keeps the factory steering wheel buttons, the parking sensor warnings and the climate display working, and when you select reverse the system switches automatically to the reversing camera picture. The head units are available at STANDARD, PRO, ELITE and PREMIUM level, differing in processor, memory (from 2+32 GB to 8+128 GB), screen resolution, built-in DSP audio processor and 360-degree camera support. The package includes the wiring loom and the frame, so nothing has to be cut or soldered and the installation is reversible. Which model years does the i30 head unit suit?

The unit on offer was made for the factory radio position of the second generation i30 (GD) built between 2011 and 2017, with a 9-inch screen and a model-specific frame. The 2007-2011 first generation and the post-2017 third generation need a different frame - if you have one of those, send a photo of the factory radio and we will see what suits it.

Are the ix20 and the Kia Venga the same car?

Essentially yes. The Hyundai ix20 and the Kia Venga are built on a shared platform, with the same body and a very similar dashboard, since the two brands belong to the same group. That is why the head unit offered for the ix20 can be fitted to most Kia Vengas as well - but before ordering it is worth checking with us on the basis of the factory radio frame.

Does it fit exactly in place of the factory radio?

Yes, every unit comes with a model-specific frame and wiring loom, so the head unit sits in the factory radio position without a gap and the appearance of the dashboard is unchanged. The car's original electrical system does not have to be touched, and nothing has to be cut or soldered.

Are the factory steering wheel controls and the reversing camera retained?

Yes. The CAN-BUS adapter keeps the factory steering wheel buttons, the audible and on-screen parking sensor warnings and the climate display working. The factory reversing camera picture is retained, and if the car has no camera one can be fitted at any time - the head unit switches to it automatically when you select reverse.

What is the warranty and can you fit it?

Every head unit comes with a 2-year warranty and a Hungarian invoice. In most cases the installation can be done at home, but if you would rather leave it to a professional, our partner workshops at several locations across Hungary will fit it.
