Dacia Android Head Units – what you need to know

Dacia owners often find that replacing the factory radio is not straightforward: the brand caters to price-conscious buyers, so there is less model-specific choice on the Hungarian market than for the big Western European brands. At TopNAVI we have therefore organised our Dacia Android head unit range by model, split into Duster, Logan and Sandero. Every unit has a factory look and comes with a model-specific frame and a plug-in wiring loom, so there is no cutting, soldering or trimming of a universal frame. The specification includes an eight-core processor, an HD touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, GPS navigation, Bluetooth hands-free calling, a reversing camera input and a multi-language menu, and the factory steering wheel controls are retained after the learning procedure. Before buying, only one thing really matters: identifying the dashboard precisely. On the Duster that is particularly important, because the model's dashboard changed twice and the model years of the 2010–2015 and 2014–2017 versions overlap, so the year alone is not enough. On the Logan and the Sandero there was a generation change during the 2009–2015 period. In both cases the solution is the same: send us a photo of the centre section of the dashboard and we will tell you which kit fits your car. It is worth knowing that Dacia is Renault's Romanian brand, and the Duster, the Logan and the Sandero are all built on the Renault-Nissan B0 floorpan; the Duster was also sold as the Renault Duster in several markets and as the Nissan Terrano in India. The shared base is an advantage for many parts, but not for the radio frame, because the dashboard differs by brand – so always choose a Dacia-specific kit.
