Renault Reversing Cameras – what you need to know

Renault reversing cameras in model-specific versions, with FullHD 1080P resolution. The camera fits in place of the factory number plate light, so it can be installed without drilling or an external bracket, with a factory look.

At the moment a Renault camera with an 89×33 mm aperture, a general Renault version and a camera made for the Renault Master 2010–2016 commercial vehicle are available. On Renaults the safest way to choose is to measure: take out the factory number plate light, measure the width and height of its opening, then compare that with the size given in the product name – the same housing recurs across several of the brand's models and model years.

Every Renault reversing camera has a standard RCA video output, so it works with all of our Android car stereo head units: when you select reverse, the picture appears automatically with guide lines. An RCA video cable is needed to connect them, available in 6, 8, 10, 15 and 20 metre lengths under Accessories. Our products carry a 2-year warranty.

What does 89x33 mm in the product name mean?

The aperture size of the factory number plate light. If your car's factory housing is that size, this camera fits into it.

How do I measure the aperture?

Take out the factory number plate light and measure the width and height of its opening in millimetres. That identifies the right camera more precisely than the model name on its own.

Is there a camera for the Master?

Yes, a separate camera was made for the Renault Master built between 2010 and 2016, matched to the factory design of the commercial vehicle.

What cable does it need and what is the warranty?
