Seat Reversing Cameras – what you need to know

Seat reversing cameras in model-specific versions, with FullHD 1080P resolution. The camera fits in place of the factory number plate light or the factory boot release, so the bumper does not have to be drilled and once fitted it is almost invisible from the outside.

There are currently two solutions to choose from: the camera with the Seat boot release is built into the factory boot release button, so the rear stays completely factory, while the unit for the Seat Alhambra is made for that model's factory housing. To choose confidently, check whether your car has a factory release button or a separate number plate light above the number plate.

Every Seat reversing camera has a standard RCA video output, so it works with all of our Android car stereo head units: when you select reverse, the picture appears automatically on the screen with guide lines. An RCA video cable is needed to connect the camera and the head unit, available in 6, 8, 10, 15 and 20 metre lengths under Accessories. Our products carry a 2-year warranty.

What does the boot release version mean?

Does the installation require drilling?

No. The model-specific Seat reversing camera goes in place of the factory number plate light or the factory boot release, so the bumper and the bodywork do not have to be taken apart.

What cable does it need and what is the warranty?
